Being a normie is good actually. We have a limited amount of knowledge or capacity for knowledge in our lifetimes and only have time to learn what is relevant to our own professions. Therefore, we must trust those in authority who know what is relevant to their own professions. To question the statement of an authority responsibly requires a lifetime of learning, and we do not have a lifetime for each topic area. Those who are always skeptical of authority end up lacking critical thinking and conforming to the statements of those who do not have authority, or following the whims of their own mind. Therefore, knowing whom to trust is far more valuable than knowing what to trust.
